Dear Rakhine Brothers and Sisters,

Even though some of your leaders have referred to me in an attempt to counter my remarks at the United Nations General Assembly, I am genuinely glad to see that they are using me as an example to inspire Rakhine youth. This, to me, is a sign that even those who oppose us recognize the power we hold, a power that comes not from weapons or political positions, but from truth, resilience, and conviction.

I know that you have 47. We have only ONE. You may kill as many people as you want, but you cannot deny our existence. Violence will not erase us; it will only expose you as perpetrators of genocide and war crimes, not as legitimate authorities.

It is time to accept the truth, the existence of the Rohingya people. The only path to real and lasting peace is through coexistence, where we share equal rights and responsibilities as fellow human beings on the same land.

Sincerely,

Maung Sawyeddollah
