Despite being among the most persecuted communities in Myanmar, the Rohingya have never stopped loving their country and its people. Our struggle has always been rooted not in separation, but in justice, equality, and shared hope for a better future for all.

At the UN General Assembly’s High-Level Rohingya Conference, Maung Sawyeddollah, the Founder of the Rohingya Student Network (RSN), delivered a powerful message to the people of Myanmar. Speaking on the global stage, he reminded the nation, and the world, that the Rohingya have stood for decades on the frontlines against military oppression, and continue to do so in solidarity with all communities.

Today my first message is for those watching me in my country, Myanmar. Dear brothers and sisters, you are not forgotten. You might feel that the world doesn’t see your suffering. Rohingya see you. Rohingya feel your pain. Our hearts cry to see the brutality of the Military Junta you face every day in Rakhine, Shan, Chin, Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Wa, and all around Myanmar. Rohingya have been fighting the Military brutality in Myanmar for decades. Let’s work together until democracy, peace, justice, and equal rights for all in Myanmar are restored.

This message is more than words. It is proof of the Rohingya people’s unwavering love for Myanmar, even in the face of genocide and systematic exclusion. While the Rohingya community has been brutally targeted for decades, our vision for Myanmar has always included everyone, every ethnic group, every community, every person who dreams of a future free from military oppression.

RSN believes that the path to a democratic, peaceful, and inclusive Myanmar lies in solidarity across communities. The suffering in Rakhine, Shan, Chin, Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Wa, and other regions is interconnected. The same military that has persecuted the Rohingya is now inflicting pain on countless others. Our struggles are shared, and so must be our resistance.

The Rohingya Student Network stands firmly with all communities fighting for democracy and justice. We believe in a Myanmar where no one is left behind, where equality and human dignity are not selective privileges, but shared rights for all.

Our love is resistance.

Our love is solidarity.

Our love is hope, for a Myanmar that belongs to all its people.
