The Rohingya Student Network (RSN) extends its heartfelt gratitude to all nations and international partners who participated in the Myanmar Roundtable, a follow-up discussion to the High-Level Conference on the Situation of Rohingya Muslims and Other Minorities in Myanmar.
The roundtable gathered representatives from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Austria, Guyana, Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, Somalia, Malaysia, the European Union, DPPA, UNHCR, OHCHR, the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (R2P), and other dedicated member states.
We express special thanks to the Mission of Denmark for hosting this important discussion and to Australia, Canada, Finland, Malta, the Women Peace Network (WPN), and the Global Centre for R2P for co-sponsoring the event.
Maung Sawyeddollah, founder of the Rohingya Student Network, and Ms. Wai Wai Nu, founder of the Women Peace Network, were invited as speakers to share their perspectives on the situation of Rohingya and other ethnic minorities in Myanmar. Both highlighted the urgent need for stronger international action to ensure justice, accountability, and long-term solutions for displaced communities.
The discussion provided a meaningful platform to explore ways the international community can strengthen humanitarian efforts, promote inclusive peacebuilding, and uphold the principles of human rights and dignity for all.
At RSN, we believe that youth leadership and education are powerful tools for change. We are committed to continuing advocacy that empowers young Rohingya voices and builds bridges between local and global communities working toward peace and justice.
Together, we move forward, guided by solidarity, hope, and the belief that a peaceful and inclusive Myanmar is possible.
